Step 1: Catch the subway into DC during morning rush hour. Don't forget to switch lines at Metro Center station. (Note: This picture was not taken during rush hour. You probably figured that one out on your own.)
Step two: When you arrive at the GWC/Foggy Bottom stop, exit the train. Then take a walk through downtown DC to the Kennedy Center. It's a fun walk... but what walk through downtown isn't fun? :-)
Step four: After the show, make sure you stop by Cup'a Cup'a to catch a bite to eat. A brownie or croissant does the trick.
Step five: Walk back to Foggy Bottom station (this reminds me of a strange combination of the "Soggy Bottom Boys" and "Boggy Bayou." Either way, it's quite entertaining.)
And that's what our adventures are like. I have to say there's nothing quite like the feeling of walking through the city on a chilly winter morning. Love. Love. Love.

Step three: Arrive at the Kennedy Center and enjoy your show. We've been delighted with the National Ballet's Nutcracker and the National Symphony Orchestra. Loooooooove!
And, for heaven's sake, don't forget to grab a latte ;-)
